Mo' markers

More marker sketches from my Stillman & Birn sketchbook.  Can't get enough of either right now.

This building just demands to be drawn, what with looking like one of those cities you make from blocks as a child.  It's a Michael Graves, but it's not so much kitschy to me as it is just elegantly simple, but still with great details.

Yeah, I didn't even go into the REI.  The building was built in 1901 and overlooks Confluence Park.  A cool space.

  1. Paul,
These sketches are fantastic. What type of markers did you use? And are they done in a S&B Alpha Series book? I have one of those, and I love it. Thanks,

    1. Hi Doug, Thanks! The markers are grey Tombow markers, and it's a S&B Gamma Series book, which is the same as Alpha but with an ivory paper instead of pure white. I love mine, too!
