Hi All! I'm back from Portland, where I went with Linda for her book tour to support Crochet Adorned (and if you haven't at least visited her blog yet you're off my Christmas list). We stayed with Linda's super-crafty (and amazingly hospitable) friend Susan Beal, her husband Andrew Dickson and their super-cute daughter Pearl. We both had a great time. Linda did a book-signing at the world-famous Powell's City of Books and at a local yarn shop, made a tv appearance on AM Northwest, and the rest of the time we got to enjoy Portland. René Descartes is sitting in first class. The stewardess walks by and asks, "Would you like another gin and tonic Mr. Descartes?" to which he replies "I think not" and disappears. I've been in Portland, OR this past week with Linda for her book tour, so I haven't posted in a while (no scanner) but I've got loads of drawings and photos to post in the next few days, so stay tuned. I promise.

By the way

I don't know if any of you who read my blog like to crochet, but my girlfriend (and the love of my life) Linda Permann has just put out her first book, Crochet Adorned , from Pottercraft/Random House. There are projects for every level of crocheter and a huge stitch dictionary in the back. I spent many evenings next to her on the futon watching Law and Order while she worked on the projects, so I think clicking on the link is worth your time... Plus the book is really good. Thanks
